A Relaxing Day At The Beach

            Yesterday in the lockdown, we went to the beach. We had so much fun this time. My brother and I played, went into the ocean, and more.

               So our destination was Sandy Hook beach. It was like 2 hours away! So we packed some lunch and snacks, a mat to sit on, some bags, clothes, and more. We sat in the car for so long and we finally reached. In Sandy Hook beach there are lots of beach areas, but we went to the area that had an entry fee. That part was kind of like a national park, so I had a chance to utilize my Fourth Grade national park card to enter the place. But there was one problem, it was expired because my summer break is almost coming to an end, I'm going to be a fifth-grader. The person in charge said it was okay, she allowed us to use the card.

                When we got to that beach area, it was empty with no people, anyways, now that's good because there is COVID-19. On the beach, we set out our large mat and sat. We kept our bags and everything. The thing was that the sand was so hot so I went into the water. My mom said I have to change to go in the water, so I changed. Then my brother and I played in the water. We played until our feet got cold. Then I started collecting shells. In the ocean, we saw many shells coming and going, so we caught all the shells. Then we played in the sand for a while. My dad was just sitting, so we called him to play in the water with us. When we were done with that, we ate some snacks. Then we played more. After we played we ate lunch. Then we saw a crab. The crab was camouflaging the sand!  We walked more and we saw a whole jellyfish. The jellyfish was probably dead because it was gooey. 

            We then made a sandcastle, that was a disaster, so we started all over and made a new one. The new one was really good this time. There were no lifeguards, thus we were able to sit on a lifeguard chair!!!...😁 But sadly, now it was time to go home and we hoped to go to the beach again!

                                        Pangolins                    I'm probably writing about this animal because my grandma had an encounter with this one. She didn't hunt it. It came to her 😮!
