Wild Cats
Wild Cats
You are walking through a jungle and spot the tiger. The tiger just had a meal, so you are safe. But still, they have sharp teeth and claws, ready to hunt prey. These are wild cats.
Carnivore means "Meat-Eating", and the wild cats are part of these. From cougars to tigers, wild cats are carnivorous. All cats are classified into 3 groups: Big Cats, Small Cats, and Domestic Cats.
Big Cats
There are 7 species of big cats, and that may not seem a lot to you. However, they are very ferocious. This is what I call cool. Big cats usually have sharp teeth or claws and can roar very loudly. Down below this paragraph, you can see a list of where big cats live.
- Lions: Africa (Rare Indian lion lives in Gir Forest)
- Tigers: South and East Asia
- Jaguars: Central and South America
- Leopard: Africa and South Asia
- Snow Leopards: Central Asia
Cool!
