Pangolin
Pangolins
I'm probably writing about this animal because my grandma had an encounter with this one. She didn't hunt it. It came to her 😮! My grandma didn't know what it was, so she called me and I told her it was a pangolin.
A pangolin is an endangered animal like the Orangutan, which is in another post. A pangolin may get extinct. A pangolin is hunted for it's hard protective keratin. Oh, I forgot to mention, pangolins have a protective outer layer of keratin. So it is extremely rare to have an encounter with one.
They usually live in Australia, Africa, India, and Indonesia. There are less than 1,000 pangolins in the wild. My grandma said the pangolin that came, never came again. Oh, by the way a snake, lizard, monkey, pangolin, gecko, and more came in my grandma's yard. Pangolins eat ants, termites and larvae, and some leaves and fruits.
Fun Facts:
Scientific Name: Manis
I don't know so much about pangolins, so I'll leave some space to fill in later
Panglins are great animals no matter what they do. So keep learning facts about more animals.
Pangolin seems to be an interesting animal. Will try to find out more about them. Thank you for writing about pangolins
